Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

• Account data: email and password (for authentication).
• Performance data: daily check-ins, tournament results, 4-pillar metrics, notes — voluntarily entered by you in the app.
• Newsletter data: email, preferred language, signup source.
• Browsing data: pages visited, time spent (via Google Analytics — GA4, anonymized).
• Payment data: processed directly by Stripe — we do not store credit card data.

2. How we use your data

• App: deliver personalized analytics, AI Coach, scorecards and weekly reports.
• Newsletter: send poker and performance content (only with your consent).
• Analytics: improve the user experience and blog content.
• Support: respond to your requests via the contact form.

3. Legal basis

• Consent: newsletter and non-essential cookies.
• Contract performance: app functionality and paid plans.
• Legitimate interest: anonymized analytics for product improvement.

For users in Brazil, processing complies with LGPD. For users in the EU, processing complies with GDPR. For users in the US, we comply with applicable state privacy laws including CAN-SPAM for email communications.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with the services necessary to operate the platform:

• Supabase — app infrastructure (database, authentication).
• Google Analytics (GA4) — traffic analysis (anonymized).
• Resend — transactional emails and newsletter delivery.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI Coach analysis generation (data sent in anonymized form).

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Your rights

Under applicable privacy laws (LGPD / GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access all of your personal data.
• Correct incomplete or inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Request data portability.
• Know with whom your data has been shared.

6. Data retention

• App account: kept while your account is active; deleted upon deletion request.
• Newsletter: kept until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics: 14 months (GA4 default).
• Contact form: 12 months after resolution.

7. Cookies

• Essential: app authentication and session (required for functionality).
• Analytics: Google Analytics GA4 (can be disabled in your browser).

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), Row Level Security in the database (Supabase RLS), and secure authentication. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

9. Minors

Poker Playbook is not intended for users under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we identify an account belonging to a minor, it will be deleted.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. The update date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
